Why not 101?
Well, 101 is always already taken. I never checked but then I think what I want to discuss in this blog is more than an introduction to the Philippines and its people.
What it this for me?
I have been working with different nationalities for half of my life now. I've always have given those who became my friends an introduction on how-not-to-be-an-ass-in-the-Philippines or Pilipinas 201. Then you get tired of doing this orientation every time there are new ones so blog it is!
And, I don't want to write some hateful articles because of those foreigners not willing to understand the Filipino context. They end up stereotyping and generalizing and I end up hating them. Don't check http://kakay-towhomitmayconcern.blogspot.com/!
What will be the style?
I will write some articles and people can agree or disagree with what I wrote. I am looking forward to it - the discussion part.
I will also try to do some interviews to get the different views on the topics that will be presented. People can also then suggest topics that they want to dive into.
Basics are I think covered, so let's get crackin'!
